....about over. All in all, it was a pretty good weekend. Was very warm up here in the Pacific Northwest. We don't have central air conditioning, so we did our best just trying to stay cool. Hung out in our bedroom quite a bit, since we do have an air conditioning unit there. Did a bit of reading. My wife read a bit also. We also spent time talking some, which was very good. Nothing has been settled about our marriage, but she is supportive of me going to SAA and a therapist. I even went to a SAA meeting on Saturday. I really didn't feel any intense urge to go, but I am trying to go to as many meetings as I can. I want to do everything I can to change my mind and get positive reinforcement in it. SAA offers me a support system that I will be able to turn to if I need it. So far I've been fortunate and have not needed it. I'm really looking forward to making it to Friday, as that will be 2 months of sexual sobriety.
Also, my wife has made plans to fly down to California in two weeks. I'd like her to go as she wants to visit her mom's gravesite and she'd like a little time away from me. I feel pretty good about where I'm at mentally and do not feel like I'll feel any need to sexually act out. I'm already planning on going to SAA meetings on all those days and nights that she's gone.
